CALIBRATION UNITS
Our calibration units are the result of research work by the National Metrology Institute Brunswick (PTB) on measurement uncertainty of reference systems. They were largely manufactured by us and some in collaboration with the company CEH seated in Mömlingen. A great number of calibration units were also shipped to our national and international customers.

Calibration of Test Benches and Calibration Equipment
In addition to calibrating transducers and complete measurement chains, we also service a wide range of test benches and calibration equipment in the torque range from 1 mN·m to 150 kN·m—both on-site and in our permanent laboratory under controlled conditions.
Compared to direct-drive systems, our reference systems offer significant advantages:
- Cost-effective manufacturing
- Low-maintenance to maintenance-free
- Virtually wear-free during operation
Precision starts with the details – Factors for minimizing measurement uncertainties
Our exceptionally low measurement uncertainties are the result of:
- Carefully selected reference sensors that are optimally suited to the specific application
- High-precision measurement amplifiers that ensure lossless signal processing
- Intelligent software that precisely interpolates and calculates characteristic curves and hysteresis, even for partial-range applications
These components form the basis for reliable measurement results—as confirmed by interlaboratory comparisons with expanded measurement uncertainties of just 0.02% (k = 2).
